Note that if you get bored and want to finish sooner, you're welcome to also work on past months such as December 2025. You can connect the year at any point as long as it's 12 consecutive months, so doing November and December 2025, then working until October 2026 would count as completing a whole year. To do a 'catchup' entry (even though you're not technically catching up since you just started lol) such as December 2025, go to the Previously Highlighted Contests 2025 list and find an open contest for December 2025. If there's nothing open or about to open next month, check with me and I'll find you a replacement. Then enter as usual using the CURRENT prompt. When you post here, title the post with the contest name AND month/year you want credit for so you credit for the correct month. So, IDK what I highlighted last month, but if it was "The Writer's Cramp"  , you'd title your post here something like "Writer's Cramp -- December 2025." Then post your forum entry link as {post:#######} just as you do for a current entry. Literally, your post is the same except you're including the month and year to ensure you get the correct credit.But there's no pressure to work forwards and backwards at the same time if you don't mind waiting a whole year to finish. It's just an option for those with too much free time on their hands. lol I've had people complete like 3-4 years in a single year. VERY impressive! But work at a pace you're comfortable with.
