Single space indent
Is it possible to create a single space indent? Here's what I'm trying to do. In an acrostic, I want the first letter of each word to line up, but some start with open quotation marks, like so:

"Line 1
"Line 2
Line 3
Line 4, etc.

If I add a single space to the lines without quotes, the editor defaults to removing it. But if I use preformatting, I can't employ any other artistry to my presentation, at least not that I could tell - preformatting took over a whole line, so I couldn't use it for just a single space, unless I'm missing something.
