I have written for many years, starting with paper and pen, but after so many scribbles, I reverted to paper and pencil, easier to make corrections and not have the page look like a mess. Commodore was the first keyboard I used, moved on to an XT and DOS, then on to PC, and on to a laptop [can't stand them], and then to iPad [great when travelling], but harvested most of my work on my desktop in the comfort of my home with a pot of coffee that never ends.
