Gotta jump in here to say I agree with you on this one. In a world where autotune rules the music industry, hearing Dylan (or Waits, or Springsteen) is refreshing. But even before autotune, I appreciated those artists' voices.

Dylan is, however, terrible live. In my humble opinion. Saw him twice, once in 1986 and once fairly recently, and in neither case could I understand one single word. Which is, after all, important if you're a poetic lyricist like Dylan.
