Writing like a human... I miss authors having voices. You can pick a Stephen King story a mile away; he has a distinctive voice. Asimov and Harrison have distinct voices. Koontz, McCollough, Dan Brown, Crichton - all have something about them. Nowadays I don't know how anybody can tell one romantasy from another, one gorepunk from another. Voices are lost.

Sorry. I seem to have gone off on a rant.
