I'm sorry, I should have explained it in my comment. Emoticons are part of the font system. To make it easy to select them, you can switch on Code View in your editor by clicking on {/} by the gear icon. Then you can select the emoticon codes and use the A symbol to choose your font size, as you probably do for text *Smile*
