Yep, That's me. I've collected things that my wife use to shake her head at. I'd just smiled. Some things I eventually will discard but for the most part I hang on to things I find interesting. I have old bottle caps from the 1940's when they use to have the "cork" in the cap itself. Those are cool. The receipts makes me realize how much cheaper things were back then compared to just 10-40 years later. The further you go back, the more mind boggling it becomes. But all of the 1980's and half the 1990's is gone. I'll be going through everything and clean house [literally]. Open up so much more space. I'm the same way but since 2020 the only thing I buy now is the precious metal silver. I fear our dollar is going to collapse and that's going be crazy. So, the precious metals is my new thing to collect or should I say invest. The bottle caps sound cool as the ones I have here. |
