I'm assuming you mean allow the paid membership to lapse... not actually cancel/close the account.

If so, that's no problem. Technically probably you're not supposed to, but there's no enforcement or anything for 2ndary's in that way. I'm 95% sure it won't lock you out or anything -- if it does, just drop me a line and I'll correct it.
