I have had the same problem myself! What I generally do is look at the storytelling, when it's about genre (I have a real problem with the gross horror/vampire stuff) because good writing is still good writing regardless of personal taste. Another thing you can do is send them to me in rank order and let me make the final decision for you. Of course, you do have the option of not chosing one at all. I'm not going to saddle up and run you down!
