For anyone to ask me about anything, just type in your question! |
Just a small chip on my shoulder when I read this from the Story Master: Stay Logged Into Writing.Com Longer! :: Having to log into Writing.Com daily can be tedious. To alleviate this task, we've added a new account preference: Keep Cookie. A cookie is a small piece of information that is placed on your computer by a website. In this case, the information is your secure, encrypted password and the website is Writing.Com. By default, a member's computer will only keep the cookie for 1 day. This new setting will allow your account to stay logged into Writing.Com for longer periods of time, such as 7 days, 15 days... all the way up to 60 days. While this setting adds convenience, it can compromise your account's security. If you use a public computer, changing this setting is not advisable! Using the "Logout" link anywhere with Writing.Com automatically clears your cookie and logs you out of Writing.Com, regardless of this setting. To set this new preference, head to the My Account page then click to Change Preferences. From there, the setting is called Keep Cookie. Our new Keep Cookie preference is for Upgraded & Premium Members only. |
