Do you mean the fires in Los Angeles (I think that's where they are)? LA is about 12 hours from my house in Point Arena, and 16 from Eureka, where I am now, so no worry! We were having fires around here in early October - at first I thought you meant those, and I was like, "It's on the news in Holland that there are fires in Eureka, California?!" Hehe!
