Thank you to narnia3 for running this contest here on our forum. This is such an exciting and wonderful idea!
Here are her rules again:
The competition is this, write a 500 - 2000 word short story (fanfic) about how your favourite crew might or might not celebrate the festive season. Would Guinan hold a party in Ten Forward? Would Neelix burn the turkey on board Voyager? Would Counsellor Troi's head fill constantly with drunken renditions of "silent night?" from all the revelry about her? What does replicated eggnog taste like? Who would spike the punch?

The best three entries will each earn 2,000 gp's and then the next best three will earn 1,000 gp's each. The closing date will be the 20th of December to give me time to post the names of the winners and send out your prizes.

If you're worried that time is an issue and you're too busy preparing for family bombarding your home or whether how well you rate your work to another, please be reassured that this is a small trifle of fun. Your stories can be serious or funny. It doesn't have to be a long moving piece about comparing religion in the 24th Century when held against the prime directive. This is so we can all smile, sigh or share a chuckle over the office christmas party on board a starship!
