Pah!! 'Bless'.

Was watching Graham Norton last night and thinking of how we used to watch it at your house when I was there over summer. He had a dog on with Shirley McClane (sp!!) and was like 'Aw, you're so cute, bless. Now...'

Right then, Shirley burst out laughing and he was like like 'What the??' and she's like 'What was that? "So cute, bless, now..."'

It was soooo funny at the time but I'm thinking perhaps it's something you had to see rather than write. My point is, do all British say bless all the time, or is it just something they say when they know I'll hear it just to annoy me?!?! *grins*
