Those Creed lyrics are really great! I think that's what all art -- including dance -- does to us (or for us, or in spite of us): exposes our souls, rips us open, forces us to show some of ourseves -- parts of our beings that we might not even have been aware of -- to the audience, the world at large.

It's a frightening, painful, intoxicating, addictive experience, making art, isn't it?
