Hi Guys

I am happy to see some interest, and I will try to answer your questions.

No- the crew do not have to be members of Starfleet. I was thinking even about a character that con's his/her/it's way on board. It could be anyone in the galaxy.

If you wish to be a Maquis thats cool. I was thinking about just several misfits/hopeless causes that get put together on a ship to refit it-then if they seem to fit with the ship they get to keep it (kind of think Down-Periscope, how they had to rehab the sub)
