Hiya Petronella:

Congrats (and thank you) for taking over this forum.

I thought I'd respond to your question on "turned off". I like character development. I don't want to be told what is happening, I like to experience it with the character. If I haven't found a bond to a character before the intimate scene I generally will not continue to read. I want it to be special and I want to share it with the character.

Does that make sense?
