Quills Judging Sign-Up Form

If you're interested in judging for The Quills, please note the following steps:

1. Read "The Quills Judges' Handbook" Open in new Window. to make sure you're familiar with all requirements and expectations.

2. Fill out the survey below to indicate your general judging interests. The deadline to sign up to judge is: Friday, 1/16 @ 11:59pm WdC time.

3. As judging surveys are received, the Quills Admin Team will work to assign categories to judges based on: (1) categories that need to be judged, (2) judges' indicated preferences below, and (3) ensuring that judges are not in a position to have to judge categories they themselves are nominated in. Judging categories will have a maximum of 10 entries (and possibly fewer) per category.

4. A proposed judging schedule (category assignments and instructions) will be circulated to all judges some time on Saturday, 1/17.

5. Judges should notify Jeff Author Icon within 24 hours if they have any questions or concerns, otherwise the proposed schedule will be considered final.

6. Judging for your categories needs to be completed no later than 11:59pm WDC time on Sunday 1/25.

  Community (Groups)
  Community (Individual) (e.g., review, port, newsfeed contributor, etc.)
3.   OPTIONAL: Are there any specific awards to do NOT want to judge? For example, if you indicated an interest in judging Fiction, this is the place to tell us if you specifically don't want to judge Best Fiction Collection, or if you indicated an interest in Community (Individual) awards but don't want to judge Best Newsfeed Contributor). If no exclusions are listed, you will be considered for all awards in that category of awards.
