Andaman and Nicobar archipelago in the Bay of Bengal, Indian ocean.

This is an island in the Indian Andaman and Nicobar islands. These consist of 752 separate islands or islets running 700 kilometers from north to south. The islands are most hilly with dense tropical forests and a wide range of flora and fauna. Only about 30 or so are inhabited. Total population 300,000. A diving and snorkelling paradise. Pristine and relatively untouched, most of it is still wild. Capital city of this union territory -- Port Blair.
