The Bible, and the red rose

         The Bible symbolizes the deep, unwavering faith she had in God. It only grew deeper the entire 14 years she was part of my life.
         The red rose stood steadfast throughout those same 14 years as the deepest, strongest, and most meaningful single symbol of the love we shared. For that very reason, two of them are carved in her gravestone.
