Chapter #5

Silent Assassinations

    by: evil dude
You figured things would be easiest if you took out some of the guards first, after all, a few guys with guns you could handle... twenty you could not. You look around and zone in on the sniper with your scope. He was clearly the most dangerous target, but taking him out would greatly eliminate the threat the others posed. The only problem is that his death carried a great risk of alerting the others, you'd have to time this just right if you were going to pull it off.

You wait a few moments for another guard to open the door to the room where your targets were and take careful aim with your silenced SMG. Just as the guard is about to close the door you open fire and unleash a quick burst of rounds at the sniper. The bullets find their mark instantly and the sniper collapses onto the roof as tiny trails of red burst from the back of his head. The door slams shut just as his body falls with a loud thud. The guard pauses to look at the door for a moment before shrugging and moving on with his patrol. None of them suspected a thing.

You breathe a quick sigh of relief as you reload your SMG with a fresh clip and move to a slightly better vantage point. Two more bursts of fire cut down two men patrolling the side of the motel with ease and you sneak across the road once you are sure no one will spot you. Another guard approaches you from the back as you close in on the bodies and you pop off some more rounds just as he turns around the corner. Luckily, no one saw his body go down and you quickly move his corpse before another guy checks on the back of the motel.

You drag the bodies behind a nearby bush where they wouldn't be easily spotted and pile their guns under a few other bushes nearby. Your SMG still had plenty of ammo left but something heavier could be useful if things went sideways and nothing beat a shotgun or an assault rifle in a close range firefight. Once the dead guards and their weapons were secured you sneak around to the back of the motel and slip into the dense foliage as you move onward.

Another guy slips away to enjoy a smoke break and you put him down with a quick knife throw that pierces his heart. He lets out a single grunt as he he drops his cigarette and clutches his chest. You walk over and stomp out the cigarette as he tries to raise his revolver. You merely grab it from him before he can fire and finish him off by putting your combat knife through his throat. This made for a quiet, if messy, end and his lifeless body slumps to the ground as you place the revolver near a rock at the base of a tree.

You were making good progress but it seemed like the remaining guards were starting to get a bit suspicious. A few men with rifles and shotguns grouped together near the cars as another group headed around the motel towards the spot you came in at. It probably wouldn't take them long to find the bodies and even if they didn't you couldn't exactly scrub away some blood off the wall from your most recent kill. Sooner or later they would find you, it was just a matter of time.

Thinking quickly, you scope out the guys near the cars. There were five in total, decently armed but clustered together. You could take them all out but that ran the risk of drawing attention, even if none of them alerted the others their bodies could set off a car alarm by accident. The other group was smaller, only three or four, but they were actively looking for you and on alert, making them much harder to surprise. Once false move and they'd light you up like a christmas tree.

Whatever move you're gonna make, better do it quick!
