This choice: Isabel suffers a mishap on the escalator • Go Back...Chapter #6Isabel suffers a mishap on the escalator by: Bluefish   Reaching the top of the escalator, Isabel stepped off, only to stumble at the sudden loss of momentum. She fell clumsily to one knee, her hands hitting the floor as she caught herself. Blushing slightly at her display, she stood up quickly, only to feel a slight tug on the back of her dress. Hmm? What's that?
The tug became more insistent, and she started to hear a few chuckles from the people around her - and then a horrible tearing sound. Suddenly she felt cool air on her back - and her dress being dragged off her shoulders. Her dress had caught in the escalator when she fell, and now it was being literally torn off her body.
Shrieking, she dropped her bag and grabbed at her dress, trying to pull it free of the escalator's workings, but she only succeeded in ripping it further. The straps broke, and her dress was abruptly pulled down to her waist, baring her white bra-covered breasts to the onlookers - who were now laughing openly at her plight.
Desperate to save her modesty, she gave one last mighty yank on her dress - so mighty that she unbalanced herself and fell once again, landing on her back. The impact knocked the wind out of her, and the escalator seemed to seize that opportunity to finish devouring her clothing. Her dress was pulled all the way down her legs and over her feet, vanishing into the crack where the escalator met the floor. "NO!" she screamed.
Scrambling to her feet, she flung her arms over herself, trying to protect some semblance of her modesty. She was now in the middle of the mall, surrounded by a crowd of people, in nothing but her high heels and lacy underwear! Her cheeks were burning red, and she danced on the stop, paralyzed by unexpected embarrassment and indecision. "Help me!" she pleaded to the spectators. Her stomach dropped when all her words produced was even more laughter.
"Sure, I'll help you!" laughed a pretty red-haired girl. "Help you go viral!" Pulling out her phone, the girl pointed it at Isabel, who shrieked again and ducked. "Smile! You're about to become a YouTube sensation!"  indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
