“You know what, let's go back to Laura's her food is so good that it is worth a second trip.” I said while patting my vast gut.
“I had a feeling you'd say that, so let's put on some baggy clothes and head out in a little bit.” Rhonda said while finishing off the last oreo box.
So while I was busy putting the largest shirt and sweatpants that I own, I was started to wonder how familiar my aunt was with Laura. So I waddle to my aunt’s door knocked on it.
“Yes, sweetie?” Rhonda asked from inside her room.
“How long have you known Laura?” I asked curiously from outside my aunt’s room.
“About four months, she actually lives a few houses down the street from us.” Rhonda said. “I got to know her when I first ate at her restaurant.” “While I was eating my food we just sat and talked about stuff like our favorite movies, books etc.” “Eventually, we became friends and we gave each other our respective numbers.” “Which is handy since Laura also helps me when I my little incidents.”
A few minutes after our conversation, Aunt Rhonda stepped out her room wearing her own large shirt and sweatpants and had a smile on her face.
“Let’s eat.” Aunt Rhonda said happily.
So we both headed for Aunt Rhonda’s car and after a few minutes of driving we were back at Laura’s world buffet. Once we entered the restaurant my nose instantly remembered all of the wonderful smells coming from the food. We also saw Laura walking right towards us almost as if she knew we were coming.
“Great to see you two back so soon.” Laura said happily. “Hey Mel, did you graduate from Buttercombe academy?”
“Yes, why do you ask?” I replied curiously.
“I was talking with one my customers and she told me that she was from Buttercombe as well as saying that she is well acquainted with you.” Laura stated.
“Why don’t we see who this person is.” Aunt Rhonda said in a curious tone.
