This choice: Something happens during the night • Go Back...Chapter #38Birdo's real man by: SonicV   Now amid the cold night breezes, under the glow of the full moon, Tails sat on the edge of one of the castle’s stone balconies. Still kicking himself, he just slumped there while his fur ruffled in the wind. Not the temperature, nor how late it was made Tails move from that spot, even though some part of him was telling him to stop bringing himself down and just go to bed. At least for a few hours he wouldn’t have to feel this way by being unconscious.
“ *Sigh* Maybe this is all for the best. Birdo deserves someone better than me. She and Yoshi would probably make a great couple.” Tails told himself, unknowingly stereotyping Birdo’s possible pairing just as many people had done with him and certain rabbit. Still, it seemed to make sense in his mind. One odd looking lizard creature with another made more since than a lizard and a freaky, twin tailed fox.
Meanwhile, the giant egg that contained said odd looking lizard girl had by now started glowing much more brightly. The egg then started shaking as the one on the inside was ready to come out.
“If I walked up to her and actually told her any of this, that I really like her and I was thinking that maybe we could go out, she’d probably wonder how my mind hatched such a crazy idea.” Tails said.
Several cracks then formed on the egg.
“She would probably crack up so much…” Tails started again.
Large chunks of shell fell to the ground to allow an easy exit.
“…she wouldn’t be able to stop laughing.” He finished.
A long and sleek pink leg came onto the floor, soon joined by another. A soft, but devious giggle came from the owner as she made her way out of the room. Grabbing her bow on the nightstand, it was time to strut her stuff in front of the only guy she really cared about seeing it.
Back outside, Tails was just then finishing up his list of how he wasn’t good enough for Birdo anyway.
“What was I thinking? I’m not good enough for Birdo. A girl like her is so special. She’s one of a kind. She’s such a great person, and I don’t see how anyone could think she was a guy even with the bow. Shouldn’t her pink color clue them in? Well what ever the case, somebody like her deserves someone better. Not a mature mind stuck in a kid’s body. Sonic and Amy had the benefit of not being sexually active until a common age of puberty, but not us foxes. Besides, Birdo deserves someone who can show her how great she is and actually has the courage to say it to her face. She deserves a real man.” He said.
“So what’s stopping you?” her voice came from behind him. In a flash he spun around and witnessed a sight that made his eyes pop out of his head. At first he didn’t think this was Birdo, but after seeing that signature red bow it was unmistakable. That however was one of the few recognizable aspects of her appearance though.
Once only as tall as Tails, Birdo was now a towering beauty that must be at the same height as Princess Peach now. Her short and stubby legs now gave her an elegant length. Connected to them were her now shapely thighs and waist. From his point of view Tails couldn’t see behind her, but considering how round her hips were, he drooled as he couldn’t but imagine what he backside looked like now. Birdo noted that particular reaction and giggled, causing her new D Cup bosom to jiggle just like jelly. When she stopped, figuring Tails had gotten a big enough eyeful, she brought his sweet words back to the center of attention.
“Uh I….I mean I was just….did you here all that?” As luck would have it though, Tails finally put his eyeballs back in his head and did just that. He could not believe his bad luck. First he rambles on and on over how fantastic Birdo is, and here she is, as sexy as he had viewed her even before she changed. He had no idea how this happened, but he now kicked himself for opening his big mouth to even himself. With a body that incredible, she had even more of reason to laugh in his face.
“Only that last part, but unless there was a bad one, I liked what I heard.” She batted her long eyelashes at him. Tails stiffened up, not just because of what she said, but because he also felt a certain part of him stiffen up to. It took all of his self control to keep it down and avoid further embarrassment. Besides, from what that gorgeous creature just said, it sounded like his luck was about to change.
She sauntered towards him, wagging her hips as she did. When she was directly in front of him, not only did Tails realize this was the only girl he’d ever known to walk around as naked as himself, but then she kneeled down and placed her hands on his shoulders. The flirtatious glint in her eyes disappeared as she gazed into his with a much softer look.
“Tails, no man I have ever met has ever treated me with the respect you have shown me. When I first met Bowser, he slapped me to the ground before giving me my first order. When I first met Yoshi, he tried to eat my bow. When I first met Mario, he tossed an egg at me. Granted, I shot it at him first but that’s beside the point. The point is, I have never met someone who made me feel special enough to even bother to do this to my body, which is something very personal and not something I would have just done to turn heads. Not to mention, I’ve never met a ‘man’ who is so cute. I know what you said about yourself, but with how you didn’t treat me like a freak or mistake me for a transvestite without my bow, shows just how smart you are. Someone who’s got such a big brain, with enough common sense to be aware of his own abnormalities, which by the way are the two most adorable tails I’ve ever seen, that makes you so sexy, and a real man, and Tails, you are my man.” Her sultry tone returned with those final words as she held the sides of his head.
“Oh man.” That was all Tails could say before he was pulled into a kiss. Birdo’s wide, funnel like mouth pursed into a small pucker as she puckered up for her man. By instinct, Tails’ hands immediately reached behind her head and he held her in place as well. When the kiss ended, they just stared into each other’s eyes. No words, no doubts, no lust.
“Come on!” well maybe some lust. Moments later, Birdo roughly grabbed Tails by the arm and ran back to her room. After years of denying her own needs for fear of rejection, she was going to give Tails a night he would never forget. She was going to be as raunchy as the new and improved Princess Peach was. Speaking of whom, once she and Tails were all sweaty and tired, she would follow in her footsteps, after seeing Tails’ intrigue in her new dietary habits, and with the blessing of Master Hand, make him her new favorite snack.
