Chapter #7
No communication for you!
by: Samantha Weltzin
Krystal began to concentrate again and focused her thoughts on the layout of the Great Fox's schematics and its security systems. Because her telepathic ability relied on electrical signals, she was able to affect everything in the ship, though of course she had never told anyone about that, thinking that she would surprise everyone by fixing a failing system at the last moment, thereby acting as a sort of "Deus Ex Machina," should the need arise. It would make for some great drama and legitimize her as a member of the team, rather than just some follower who needed to be saved. Of course, now she was using that power as the team's destruction rather than its saving grace. "It's amazing what a base drive such as hunger will do to a person's motives," she thought, "I guess our will isn't as free as we'd like to think it is."
When the entire ship was inside her head, she grimaced and subtly knocked out all communication signals, disabling ROB 64 as well.
With that done, she went out to investigate Fox's scent, which was much closer now. She opened up her door because the rest of the powered items in the Great Fox were still working. She looked around and saw Fox heading toward his room down the hall. She called to him and he turned around.
