Hide with no cover, or get caught

I guess I better start walking. Still doing my best to hide, I walk back the way I came. Well, after about an hour of walking, I can see the forest off on the horizon. If I can get there then I'll have more cover to hide behind. Wait! I see some people walking this way. I have two choices. I can try to hide even though theres almost nothing to hide behind. That, or I could just continue walking, let them see me, and hope that its no one I know.
