"Alright" you say. Jerome and you get into his car and drive to the doctor. Daniel is sound asleep in your tummy.
"So how does this doctor knows about living plushies?" you ask.
"Oh, you aren't the only living plushie" said Jerome as he drives. "there are tons of living plushies"
You're not surprised about that. After all, most kids in town own a plushie, and it's a safe bet that at least one of those plushies is alive. You know little Harry Goodson has a living plush dragon that's alive.
"Where does this doctor live?" you ask.
"Just 2 miles away" said Jerome.
"And he won't mind us coming at his home this late?" you ask.
"Oh.." said Jerome, pulling out his cellphone. He dials a number and wait for anyone to pick up.
"Sorry to wake up, Dr. Jennings.....well, I have a living plushie here with a problem......well, she belongs to a Daniel McCormick.....Yes, that's Tom's son....If it's alright, I'm bringing her to you so you could help her.....Oh good! We'll be there shorty. Bye"
As Jerome hangs up the cellphone, you notice that he just turned on Tressler Avenue. Tressler Avenue is really an avenue; it's a divided street with grassy islands in the middle. You know that Tressler Avenue leads to the North Hill neighborhood of Springfield.
"Dr. Jennings lives in the 'hood?" you ask.
"No,but it's the fastest way there" said Jerome.
You arrive at Dr. Jennings house a few minutes later.
Jerome goes up and knocks at the door. You climb up the stairs to the front porch when the door opens.
