Chapter #25Gohan and Videl by: Drez  
Android 21 had sensed Trunks the moment he entered the lodge. The female android spent a minute in a panic that soon faded. All that she needed to do was to adopt her human disguise and hide her power level. Hiding her power level was no problem nor was adapting to her human disguise. It took the android less than a minute to transform to her human self.
Android 21 had established herself as a researcher at Capsule Corp for the past several months. That was how she had learned all about Trunks. The android and Trunks had even met once or twice. Android 21 wasn't sure if Trunks would remember meeting her before; she was a low-ranking researcher and not in charge of anything important. It was a matter of the right hand having no idea what the left hand was doing which was disturbingly easy.
Android 21 punched a few buttons on the dimension-hopping machine, setting the machine to shift to another dimension. She hesitated before setting the machine to shift to a completely random dimension. She truly didn't care on which dimension that the lodge would go to.
Android 21 then exited the room and closed the door behind her. According to the machine hopping to another dimension would take two minutes to shift there. A smile came over the human researcher just as she heard someone coming.
Sure enough, a woman emerged from the stairs that led upstairs. She had a shotgun strapped on her back. The woman was beautiful with straight black hair. Android 21 had no trouble in recognizing the woman; it was Mai, good friend of Trunks. Maybe girlfriend? The android didn't care all that much about romance...and yet....
"You're that researcher from Capsule Corp, right?" asked Mai as she looked around.
"Yep," replied the disguised android. "I happen to find this place after I saw all those people running out of here"
Mai nodded. "Same goes for me and Trunks"
As if on cue, Trunks came up behind Mai. Android 21 and Trunks locked eyes for a moment before Trunks looked around.
"Funny to see you here... uh, Cassandra, is it?" said Trunks.
"Yes" nodded Cassandra. "it's my day off....and you don't know how much I cherish my days off"
"My mom can be a slave driver sometimes" admitted Trunks looking a little sheepish. "how long have you been here?"
"I only arrived here" replied the disguised android. "I found this place by --"
"Uhh, guys?" asked Mai. Mai had made her way to the room where all the dimension-hopping machinery was located at. Trunks and "Cassandra" approached the room where there was a great shudder throughout the lodge. The shudder caused "Cassandra" to lose her footing and stumbled into Trunks. Trunks hadn't lost his balance but had grabbed the disguised android so that his hand had ended up on the generous chest of Android 21. Trunks, ever the gentleman, quickly lifted his hand from the chest of "Cassandra"
"Sorry about that" said Trunks as he blushed.
Android 21 was blushing also which caught her off guard. She -- Android 21 -- was supposed to be a ruthless devourer and not a blushing bimbo looking for a man to bang.
Another shudder rocked the lodge. It was a much stronger shudder than before. It was so strong that it managed to make all three fall to the floor. The shuddering was accompanied by a loud hum coming from one of the machines in the room. The humming got louder and louder until it actually hurt to hear such a noise. It didn't take long for all three to lose consciousness as another great shudder rocked the lodge.

Note: This takes place in a dimension where some non-Saiyans are Saiyans. They keep their names because A) it's easier to keep track of and B) I can't think up of any pun names for vegetables that serves as names for the Saiyans
Meanwhile....
"Hey, Gohan. You awake?"
Gohan roused from his sleep. He opened his eyes to see the infinite expanse of space from the window not even two feet in front of him. He sat forward in his cushioned seat and tapped a few buttons on the onboard computer. It told him that he was several weeks away from landing on the next planet that could be sold to the highest bidder. It took Gohan a moment to recall the name of the planet; Dardry. According to the computer, Dardry had no moon which was such a pity. The native people wouldn't be able to see his party trick.
"Gohan," called a feminine voice over the scouter that Gohan wore. "are you awake?"
"Yeah, yeah" replied Gohan. "Somehow I was able to sleep earlier. I don't see how one could sleep in these pods. They're so cramped"
"Then how's about we stretch our legs? We're not that far from the planet where Prince Vegeta and Nappa are on"
Gohan gave out a hollow laugh. "You wanna hang around with the super elites? Not my idea of fun, Videl"
"Be quiet!" snapped Videl. "who knows who else could be listening"
"Do you think that the royalty even cares what we on the bottom rung think about them?" asked Gohan. There was five beats of silence. "what planet are they on again?"
"Arlia, I think?" said Videl after a pause.
"Arlia....Arlia..." mumbled Gohan as he tapped the name into the computer. Gohan grimaced as information on the planet came up. It wasn't too far; just three days away.
"Are they alone on the planet?" asked Gohan.
"I believe so" replied Videl. "so, can we go stretch our legs?"
"Oh, alright" sighed Gohan as he punched the coordinates of the planet Arlia.
Silence for almost five minutes followed. Gohan was thinking back on the previous planet that they had been on; the planet called Wynone. Wyone had been the home of a highly advanced civilization much like Planet Vegeta had been ages ago. The planet had two moons and so had been a farce to eliminate that civilization from existence.
Videl had came away from Wyone with a prize; a special gun that was in the experimental stages that had the power to grow or shrink people with a dial on the gun itself. Videl and Gohan had some fun with that gun after they had wiped out the civilization that involved the two Saiyans to make love at a gigantic size. A Saiyan with a gun such as that was a bit redundant seeing how Saiyans could grow to giant apes during the full moon but Videl wanted to keep it.
Videl was among the very few Saiyan females that had a high power level at birth. It was kind of rare but not absolutely out of the question and so Videl was granted permission to go on space missions to conquer planets.
"Have you heard from Kakarot lately?" asked Videl.
"Not for months" replied Gohan. "I know that him and Uncle Raditz went to some backwater planet called Earth...a planet that's so remote that it isn't worth putting on the market. Last I heard he and my uncle were being a thorn in somebody's side....his name is Piccolo if I recall"
"That's awfully rare," said Videl. "a planet not being put on the market"
"True enough" said Gohan.
"Incoming ship detected" came the voice of the computer.
"Looks like we get to stretch our legs earlier than expected" said Videl.
"Don't get hasty" said Gohan. "computer, can you identify the incoming ship?"
There was a very pregnant pause. An image of the ship came on the small monitor. The sight didn't exactly excite Gohan.
"It's one of Lord Freiza's ships" said Gohan in an even voice.
"Just what we need" muttered Videl.
"Quiet!" hissed Gohan. "he might be on the ship"
Videl scoffed. "We're in the hind end of space here. I'm sure Lord Freiza makes a habit out of traveling to nowhere on one of his grand ships"
Gohan sighed and kept his thoughts to himself.
"Shouldn't we be hearing from them by now?" asked Videl a few minutes later.
"Yeah" said Gohan. "we're almost in visual range"
The ship came into view. Just seeing one of Freiza's ships made Gohan's blood boil. Freiza was the current client... although "slaves" might be the better word for it.
"My sensors aren't picking up life signs..." came Videl's voice.
Gohan ran his sensors and found no life signs either. What was more the ship appeared to be drifting. According to the sensors, life support on the ship was at minimum levels.
