Amelia checks over the little dragon. It's alive, apparently only knocked out ... Oh oh... This back leg looks to be broken. Hmm..
Great, it is not going to get out of here on its own, and she is not going to leave it here to die. As if trying to crawl up that narrow tube wasn't going to be hard enough... Well, it was big enough for her to come down, so it should be big enough to go out...
Clutching the little dragon, Amelia shoves her head, and then the rest of her into the long throat and starts to climb up. Thankfully the muscles that normally push food down are now relaxed, but it is still a tight fit, made even tighter by having to carry the dragon.
But it is just a tight fit, and the throat walls are flexible enough. Not like some of those stone caves she had to squeeze thru when her brothers thought cave exploration was a good idea. There, she really came close to being stuck. And the throat sees to be open all the way out, so while the air smells terrible, it is air.
Now comes the mouth itself, and while it has a border that is tougher to enlarge, now the little dragon can simply be pushed in first and she can then squeeze thru. Then getting past the teeth to the outside is almost a breeze.
As she wipes off some of the sweat, the little dragon wakes and whimpers at her. Amelia bends down to comfort it, but can do little more. It's a definite break and only staying off that leg for a long time will cure it.
"So you have made your choices. Not what I would have chosen, but perhaps you were wise."
