"Sir you'll have to move." The stew repeated sharply.
"Why?"
"It's for weight-and-balance."
"We're not even loaded yet!"
"You'll have to move anyway, sir."
"This is bullshit." Jason muttered under his breath.
"What?" the stewardess asked.
"I said this is bullshit!" Jason shouted, causing the heads of the passengers to turn in the direction of the commotion. Damn! Kanya thought nervously. She hated having attention drawn to herself especially now. Fortunately all attention seemed to be on Jason and the stewardess..
"Please, sir."
"Is it a window seat?"
"You'll sit where I tell you to, sir." The stewardess said sounding definitely dictatorial.
Jason got up muttering "Shit!" under his breath.
That forced Kanya to get up, too. The plane was filling up fast but there were still plenty of seats empty. Kanya got into the aisle, jostling passengers as she did so. Jason was so big he seemed to fill the entire aisle. The stew moved him back three rows to row 19. She did point him to the window seat across the aisle from where they were sitting before. Kanya was being forced further and further back, until she felt like she was being forced off the plane altogether. Another passenger jostled Kanya, and she nearly jumped out of her skin. She was getting very nervous.
Maybe I should get off the plane, Kanya thought glancing back at the door. It was blocked by boarding passengers. The passenger behind her bumped her again, harder this time. Kanya stumbled forward, into Jason Abraham who was trying to get into his new seat.
"'Scuse me..." Kanya felt Jason's breath on her ear, and nearly jumped a mile. The last time she felt like that nearly 2 years ago....
She glanced back at the door nervously. Kanya again thought of getting off the plane. But she wanted to go to the Bermuda Triangle to disappear from Raul.
