Berry-Induced Hunger

Navi caressed her soft tummy, the source where the rumbling came from and where the swallowed berry sat. As Navi held onto her belly, she felt her abdomen getting less and less distended. Navi also saw that her belly is becoming less rounded, meaning that her stomach is digesting the berry, although faster than usual. She wondered if that was the effect of the berry or the higher metabolism of tiny creatures such as herself. Her pondering ended abruptly when she felt the walls of her stomach grind against each other; she digested the berry so quickly that she was already starving.
Oh, I just had that berry! I shouldn't be that hungry right now! Navi thought to herself, Stay strong, Navi. You can wait until Link fixes the Great Deku Tree's curse. Just give him hints and help him focus on the monsters as usual.
Navi thought she could make it through the inside of the Great Deku Tree without any food, but she soon realized it would take longer than she thought. Link insisted to check every room in the base once he found the dungeon map, and through his room-searching he found an item-tracking compass and a slightly better Fairy Slingshot (which made his makeshift slingshot pointless) as well as a bunch of Deku Seeds as ammo. Navi was hoping that Link would throw away the berries in favor of the Deku Seeds since they appeared to be tougher and far more numerous than the berries, but that thought didn't come across Link's mind as he kept both the berries and the seeds, to Navi's dismay.
Navi's hunger was reaching its breaking point, and Link barely went through his first major obstacle. The Skulltula web covering the giant pit in the main room was supposed to be broken by dropping down onto the middle from the highest point, yet every time Link dived into the web from the highest platform, he was off by a few feet, causing the web to trampoline him back to the floor. Navi's patience was wearing thin, and her hunger feels like it was killing her. When Link failed to break through the web again, Navi finally snapped, her hunger for the berries overtook her thoughts, and she:
