Zelda certainly didn't want to be eaten and hoped that the fairy was thinking the same.
"I could very well eat here and now, princess..." a bead of sweat ran down Zelda's face, "But if I did that I may gobble up Hyrule in the process and well I don't really feel like eating the very country I wanted to explore for a while."
While she couldn't move Zelda did let out a mental cheer, thankful she wouldn't be a meal but of course she wasn't out of the doghouse just yet.
"So that means I get to flatten you with my girth!" the fairy smiled as she watched from above.
"Now that I think about it I wouldn't even have to shrink you just expand myself to ridiculous lengths and sit my beyond planetary butt right on top of you...but that would cause more harm than good so I'll just go with shrinking you down then sitting atop of you. Maybe then you'll learn not to tamper with powers far beyond your own."
If she could speak Zelda would have let out a growl of frustration. Not only was she at the mercy of the fatten fairy but on top of that the Great Fairy had the gull to lecture her as if she were some stupid child. But knowing the position she was in Zelda decided to let the Fairy do her thing perhaps if even by chance an opportunity of good fortune would present itself.
Just as she said The Great Fairy of Fat soon began to shrink Zelda down, a feeling that did not sit well with the princess. A few minutes later Hyrule was free from the girth of Zelda, who stood where the now destroyed Lon Lon Ranch previously was and had lost all of her extra weight leaving her back at half a ton.
The Great Fairy simply laughed at the now much thinner Zelda, who glared back at the fairy...an action that only registered in her brain several seconds after she had done it.
Was it possible could she move again? Zelda quickly blinked a few times and moved her fat fingers and toes quickly so as not to be caught by the fairy. It was true she could move again and that meant she could make use of her magical arsenal.
"Now any last words or begging you might want to get to before I squish you flat?" asked the fairy with a bit of a smirk.
'Yeah when this is all through your power is going to be mine!' she thought but decided to play the role of the helpless beggar and go with "No please Great Fairy of Fat, please forgive this reckless fool of a princess."
Zelda was good at her role and almost convinced the fairy to think otherwise.
"Good try but I'm afraid it's not enough. Hope you like the feel of all my flab!"
While she looked on in worry, mentally Zelda prepared herself to sap the power straight out of the Great Fairy the moment the two made contact.
