Naruto groaned as he looked down at the eager little boy. Konohamaru wasn't a bad kid by any stretch of the imagination but he could get annoying whenever he was begging for attention. It didn't happen as often as it used to since he started hanging out with his friends but whenever they weren't around the first person Konohamarau sought out was Naruto.
"Well...I guess we can play. But just for a little bit!" Naruto said, firm in his decision.
"Awesome! Thanks Naruto!" Konohamaru grabbed Naruto's hand and dragged him off to the training field. "I wanna play Hide and Seek! That's always a lot of fun!"
"Yeah? For who?" Naruto muttered. Not only was Konohamaru usually ridiculously easy to find (his camouflage skills left a lot to be desired) but whenever Naruto had to hide he could end up sitting in his hiding place for nearly hours, Konohamaru unable to find him. One notable game had ended after Naruto had been waiting for two hours. He had tracked Konohamaru down only to discover that the boy had given up an hour ago and had promptly forgot all about the game. Naruto had given him a few lumps for that one!
"Okay!" Konohamaru said once they arrived. "Rock Paper Scissors to decide who seeks first!"
"Alright! Get ready to lose Konohamaru!"
Both boys pumped their fists up and down three times before throwing out a symbol. Naruto cheered when his rock smashed through Konohamaru's scissors. "Told ya so! I'm going to hide, and you're going to seek!"
"Fine!" Konohamaru covered his eyes and began to count loudly. Naruto had already come to a decision about how to handle this. He was going to hide someplace easy to hide and then, when it was Konohamaru's turn, he was going to bolt and try and find something else to do. Thinking fast, he spotted a box not too far off. Chuckling somewhat evilly, he hid underneath it. About a minute passed before Naruto heard Konohamaru shout. "Ready or not here I come!"
Naruto could hear Konohamaru's feet shuffling through the dust as he looked around. Naruto was already beginning to regret hiding underneath the box. He knew it would be cramped, but this was cramped even more than it should have been! He could swear his back hadn't been pressing up against the top of it when he had first hidden! It didn't help that it was getting incredibly hot inside it, his clothes starting to feel uncomfortable on his body. He was so busy shifting around he barely noticed when Konohamaru lifted up the box in triumph. "Hah! Oh man Naruto, even for you this was a pretty dumb idea for a hiding place!"
"Hey! Like you can hide any better!" Naruto retorted, standing up.
"Come on boss!" Konohamaru said with a frown. "I could totally see you hiding under there! Your butt and your feet were totally visible!"
"Huh? No way! This box totally covers me!" Naruto insisted.
Konohamaru shook his head and said, "Nope! It's too small!" He pressed it back down over Naruto and said, "See?"
Naruto looked down and saw that the kid was right. He could see his feet poking up from under the box. "Huh...that's really weird..."
He stood up and tossed the box aside. Konohamaru snickered and said, "Uh, Naruto? Do you always wear clothes that are too small?"
"Huh?" Naruto looked over his body and his eyes widened in surprise. It was true! His clothes DID look small on him! His pants were pulled up around his calves, the bottom of his shirt rising up to show off his belly button, the sleeves pinched tight around his arms. "What the heck is going on here?!"
