Go back to the shed see if you can fix the machine

You go back to the machine later that night to see if you can fix it but without hands its impossible to put the wires back. You have no choice, but to be a fox for awhile.
Just then you see a mouse and pounce on it and have a nice lunch. You hear some noise so you run off. Its so easy to let your instincts take control and fun. Before you realize it a couple of weeks have gone by.
One night while hunting.
You see your oldself and your girlfriend on the porch. That reawakens old memories of who you are. You realize that if you don't switch back soon you may be a fox forever. You sneak back to the shed and see that somebody has been working on the machine and that the wires are all reattached. Now you have to figure a way of reaching and pressing the activation button in either the pods or on the machine itself.
You see a old icecream pail and push it into one of the pods to give you the hight you need to hit the button.
You are so nervous and want to run so bad, but you must keep your cool if you want to switch back.
Now how do you get somebody into the other pod?
