Kakashi ran away but ended up at a coast with no boats in sight. He was lost and alone, not knowing what to do next. He felt helpless, with no way out of this situation. He sat down and wondered what he should do next. He had no idea where he was or how to get back to his own world. He was completely at the mercy of his circumstances, and he found himself wishing for any kind of help.
Kakashi sighted and decided to swim, but when he jumped into the water he wasn't able to move and lost energy. He felt weak and tired, and he was soon beginning to drown. He struggled to stay afloat, but eventually he gave in and let himself sink into the depths of the ocean. Just as he was lost in the darkness of the abyss, he felt a hand grab him and drag him back to the surface.
When Kakashi woke up, he saw Denjiro, who had saved him from drowning. Denjiro looked at Kakashi with concern, and asked if he was alright. Kakashi said that he was fine, but he was clearly still groggy from the drowning experience. Denjiro offered to help Kakashi recover, and the two began talking. Kakashi asked Denjiro about this new world, and Denjiro told him that it was called the Grand Line.
