Chapter #6Intergalactic Detective by: Unknown You are completely weirded out by the whole discovery of this mirror and its strange capabilities. You decide to weird out your mom by going up and talking to her while you are inhabiting an exact replica of your body.
As she sees you walking over to her, she smiles and says "Hi Tim. I see that your found the mirror.".
You start stuttering and stammering "You, you, you mean you know about the mirror?".
"Yes, and I left it in a place where I was sure you would find it.".
"You mean that you wanted me to turn into you mom?".
Your mom smiles and says "Yes, but we need to talk. I'm not really your mom, well I have been acting like her for the last 6 months.....". You interrupt her, "What do you mean you're not my mom?".
The woman you thought was your mom starts back up "Let me start from the beginning. My name is Tyrabitha Plagintoo, I am an intergalactic detective from the planet Cyraseene. I have been assigned to your planet Earth. One technology we have developed is the ability to morph both ourselves and Earthlings into other people. Unfortunately we are only able to perform one morph on humans, than they are stuck into whatever we morph them into for the rest of their lives. I needed your mom's body in order to catch an escaped fugitive who was posing as her hairstylist.".
Again you interupt "Well where is she now?". Tyrabitha replies "She is now a 45 year old man who works as a guidance counselor at a high school in Ohio. Don't worry, she is fine, but unfortunately she is stuck in that life. She is happy, but she does remember you, yours sister and your dad and she misses you.".
You find this story almost too incredible to be true, yet at the same time you know that she is telling the truth. Tyrabitha starts back up "Anyways, whenever we need to pose as a person, that person then morphs into the last person we used. We need to pose as you, so that is why you became your mom.".
You protest "Wait a minute. I want to help you catch criminals, but you just can't steal my life like this.". Tyrabitha replies "Well they all say that at first, but soon you will find that you will really enjoy your new life.". She points a device at you and says "This will allow you to retain your memories of you being you, but at the same time will make you think and act more like your mom, or I should say - the new you. In a few days, no one will be able to tell that you are not your mom. You will talk, act, dress, everything else just like her, and you will be happy about it."
Tyrabitha then pulls out a mirror and looks into it. In a few seconds she looks exactly like you did before you found the mirror. She says "I need to to go to another state in your old body in order to catch the next criminal. Do not try to follow me.". Then in a flash of light she disappears.
You already feel yourself thinking more like your mom. Do you.......
