As Choji tried to come to terms with what had just happened, the door opened and in walked a super sized Shikamaru! Choji knew he'd have a better chance with Shikamaru since Ino had been the one to shrink him. He wondered where she had gotten too, but decided it didn't matter. What did matter was getting Shikamaru's attention. He quickly ran through a series of hand signs and tried to release his chakra but something was wrong. Whatever he had drank had sealed his chakra! He couldn't perform any jutsu! He quickly formulated a new plan as Shikamaru looked around the room.
"Choji? Are you in here?"
Choji took a deep breath, cupped his hands around his mouth, and bellowed, "SHIKAMARU! I'M DOWN HERE!!!!"
Shikamaru heard what sounded like a voice from far away calling his name. He stopped and looked around wondering where it had come from. Suddenly, he felt something sting his big toe and looked down at his feet. He reached down and pulled a silver thorn, wondering where it had come from. Upon closer inspection, however, he saw it wasn't a thorn at all, but a tiny kunai! Wondering just what the heck was going on, he looked around and saw the tiny Choji jumping up and down and waving his arms. Shikamaru knelt down and said, "Choji? What the heck happened to you?"
Choji quickly ran through the story about Ino giving him some kind of wierd drink that had caused him to shrink and seal his chakra. Shikamaru sighed and said, "Man, what a drag. Fine, I'd better take you home with me. You'll be safer in my room and I can ask around the village about this stuff Ino gave you."
Shikamaru laid his hand on the ground and Choji scrambled up onto it. He rolled off the fingers and onto the palm as Shikamaru closed his hand into a fist. He dropped Choji into the breast pocket of his jacket and took off.
Meanwhile, Ino was just arriving back in the room, snickering to herself. She checked a clock and saw fifteen minutes had gone by since she gave Choji the drink.
"He should be done shrinking by now!" She said gleefully. "Finally, I'll be able to make him listen and stop being such a lazy pig!"
She spent the next half an hour looking all over the room for the shrunken Choji. When she was convinced he wasn't in the room she yelled in frustration and said, "All my plans, ruined! And that was the only shrinking drink I had! Well, he couldn't have gotten far! I'll find him and teach him a lesson!"
She stormed from the room, intent on finding Choji!
