No Hindrance

Silver finally opened his eyes, just in time to see Blaze fall asleep. He could not stop himself from smiling at her; he couldn't recall a time when she looked so peaceful and relaxed. Years spent fighting Iblis had wearied her - wearied them both. He chuckled to himself; he had not counted on immobility and a bed being their reward. He shrugged as far as he could. If Blaze was happy, he supposed he would learn to live with it. Her approval had certainly helped him feel better, at the very least.

He thought to himself as he sat in mid-air. His reflexive levitation had certainly not escaped his notice. He could feel the air beneath him, supporting him with minimal effort. No, he realised. Not even that. It did not take the slightest effort at all to maintain his altitude. He could not even remember when he decided he wanted to levitate. Suddenly, he could! He wondered to himself barely thirty minutes ago how he was going to move and, more specifically, how much more would he need to rely on his telekinesis to do so. Looking around, he grinned. Apparently, he thought, not as much as he had feared.

Silver looked around, pondering to himself. Propulsion briefly flashed into his mind, when a sudden burst of movement knocked him out of his reverie. Blinking, he saw a shallow, wide indentation in the wall, and a coating of plaster on his belly. He gaped; he must have hit the wall at 100mph! His eyes darted from left to right. He had to think of something, find anything, that could fix that wall. Breathing heavily, he looked back at the wall, hoping to calm down enough to find a solution.

If he could only find the indentation.

Silver blinked. He looked around; all he could see was a pristine wall. He was certain his belly had damaged it. He gulped. Something was not quite right.
