This choice: Dad and farmer John, yet both fainted...  •  Go Back...
Chapter #28

Dad and farmer John, yet both fainted...

    by: Unknown
"Great, that worked well, don't you think so too there Bernard?"

There, lying on the ground laid farmer John and almost beside him was dear dad, they having watched with a sense of horror as with some guidance, as a learned human ability did with a hoof wrote a greeting from a elatedly happy son to his dear father, if just to inform him his son was alive and well.

As Bernard being his calm and aged self looked at the green grasses there outside the fence what made him its captive, he lowered his head and began munching at the lawn. Needless maybe to say, but his added entity, a boy having become as is a horse, did not resist, and wishing to experience all of what was Bernard his pal, he let the animal take full control.

It was after several minutes while grazing that Bernard and pal noted first the movements and awakening of Dad.

Dad whirled around and seeing Bernard as standing there grazing peacefully, he got up and went to help farmer John to awaken to bear as well the truth of a strange situation.

"Are you alright?" Dad asked of his and our farmer neighbor.

"Yea," replied Farmer John, he then shaking the cobwebs from out his head, turned and looked at us, his prize winning stud horse.

"I got to think about this some more, do you mind if I leave and go home, this is something I cannot begin to explain to my misses." Dad said, as Farmer John nodded his head as to agree.

We watched while munching a mouthful of grass as Dad walked down the driveway and staggered twice as he was assuredly distracted by his strange realization of my/our experience of merging.

"Come now Bernard..., a friend, as maybe you could with time, inform me as what I did to you, or you did to..., oh nuts!" Farmer John said as he took hold of our head halter and led us back to the corral gate. As the old farmer opened the gate, Bernard offered a shrill whinny as if he and we were disgusted for having to enter the dusty corral.

We, Bernard and I entered the corral and we spun our bulky big horse body around as Bernard offered his owner and master another defiant whinny.

"Be calm dear friend," I thinking communicating with my host horse self. "As now we here, you can begin to show me as let me gain the knowledge of what you are being a horse."

Bernard snuffled his breath as to agree and we began trotting along side the fence surrounding that corral area.
