"Sonic?" Tails said nervously.
"Hey, Bud! Hey, why r ou so bigs? And why can'ts I talk wight?"
A mixture of dread and relief filled Tails' mind "Ummm, it's a pretty funny story."Tails said sheepishly
"Taaiiiillllsss" Sonic said warningly
Tails flinched"Man,he can still scare me with that." he thought.
"Ummm, Sonic."
"yea?"
"Y-you wouldn't hate me, no matter what I did...right?"Tails asked worryingly
Sonic's glare softened and he sighs "No, Taiwls, I'll never hates you."
Tails gave a sigh of relief "Okay then, um...look down."
Sonic looked down and his eyes showed, at first shock, but a mild annoyed anger flickered on his face.
"Ummm...it's not that bad?" Tails said hopefully
"NOT THA BAD?!? Taiwls, I'm wearwin pullwups!!!!"Sonic screamed
"I'm sorry,I'm sorry! I diddn't mean for you to regress that young!" Tails cried out in protest
"Taiwls!!!" Sonic took a deep breath and let out an angery groan "You can fix this wight?"
Tails nodded his head rappidly " In few weeks I fix you up as good as new!"
"A few weexs! Taiwls Ican't wait that long."Sonic wined
"I'm sorry Sonic, but I try to hurry as fast as I can,okay?"
Sonic sighed "Fine Taiwls"
Tails gave a sigh of relief "Good, now I just have to find someone to take care of you."
Sonic gave Tails a strange look "Your not waching me?"
Tails shook his head "I can't watch you AND fix the machine, and anyway I don't know how to take care of toddlers."
Sonic gave him a questioning look "But who's gonna watch me? Amie is with Vanillwa and Cweam out of town, Knucles is who knows where, Chwris went on a camping twip with Chuck, Ellwa went to visit family and Mista Tanaka went to that trwip with Topaz,So who in the names of chiwi dogs is gonna watch me?"
Taiwls thought for a minute, blank with this, before a very desturbing thought filled his head, he thried to shake it out, for Sonic's sake, as well as his sanity, but he couldn't, and with the look on Sonic's face, Tails knew that the blue hadgelet's patence wouldn't last much longer
"Ummmm, There might be someone....." Tails said timidly
"Well then who?" Sonic asked
"Ummmm....*cough*Shadow*cough*"Tails muttered
"Who?" Sonic said raising his eyebrow
"*Cough*Shadow*Cough*"Tails muttered a bit louder
Sonic groaned"Taiwls, please don't make me fouse it ou of you, I'm wosing my-"
"It's Shadow." Tails said meakly
Silence lasted for a while, but not long enough "WHAT!!!!!!!"Sonic screamed
"He's the only one who's free AND knows about child care." Tails reasoned
"I DON'T CARE IF HE LIVES IN A COTTAGEVIN THE WOODS AND TAIKS TO BWIRDS I"M NOT GOWING TO STAW WITH SHADOW!"Sonic screamed, wondering if his brother lost his mind while building the darn machine
"Sonic," Tails said losing his patence "It's ether Shadow,...or Eggman."
"WHAT?!?!?"Sonic screamed
"You heard me, those two are your only chooses. Eggman is on his daily vacation in his base, and Shadow is a choose because Rouge is taking a vacation in Hawaii."
But-"Sonic started but Tails cut him off " Look Sonic, just suck up your pride and pick from the two, will it be Shadow, or Eggman."
Sonic pouted but after while he mumbled-
