Sonic mumbled, "Fine, Shadow."
Tails wasn't happy about either one of those choices but he thought Shadow would be the best bet. Shadow might at least attempt to take care of him rather than locking him up in a prison somewhere. But then again, Eggman isn't all evil and he might be able to convince him to take care of Sonic for him.
Tails replied, "Alright, I will call him and make arrangements.
Sonic thought about his decision and said, "Wait, what about Knuckles?"
Tails: I haven't been able to contact him. Unless he shows up, you're stuck with Shadow.
Sonic replied, "Blaze, Silver, tear must be some other option. Tikal?
Tails: Blaze and Silver live all the way in Florida an vacation. Tikal, maybe but she and I don't get along too well.
Sonic: Well you could always try.
Tails: I could but just give Shadow a chance.
