Tails wakes up and checks out his new body

After a while, when Tails was sure the changes had stopped, he stretched a bit and got up but felt... odd. looking down he noticed he still had his normal coloring, but not texture. Making a beeline for the nearest mirror Miles began inspecting the changes.

His entire body was some kind of rubber, Latex by the surface texture but that was just an educated guess. His limbs felt solid enough, so he definitely hadn't been turned into some kind of absurd balloon animal or something. Actually a better analogy of how he felt would be a dogs chew toy, only softer and more flexible.

More concerning was his appearance, he looked entirely artificial. the distinct smooth shine of his material ruining any illusion of fur despite the detailed "sculpting" of his body. Next the the fact that his face was painted details on molded-in unblinking unmoving eyes, and lastly a mouth stuck in a permanent mildly disturbing smile...

"I'm a forehead antenna away from being a rubber Tails Doll..." Tails commented to himself, observing his reflection and noticing the mouth didn't move when he spoke.

This was... troubling. Not only was this not the very much living and normal hedgehog form he had programmed the machine for, but it wasn't even remotely close. Fortunately, as long as the machine had imprinted his original form in him correctly, It would be a simple matter of using the machine's reverse function.

Immediately after closing the machine just reopened itself. "No subject detected. Please step into chamber to begin process." a vaguely feminine mechanical voice came from the controls.

"Uh oh..." The machine wasn't recognizing him as having been transformed...

Before he could even start thinking of a workaround there was a knock at the front door and a familiar voice.
