Chapter #23Revenge. by: Unknown She clared at the two dragons passionatly kissing in the courtyard. Ember let out a snort of anger. She did not like, she did not like it at all. 'He should be with me, and not with that Terror of the Skies,' Ember thought.
She could not understand it; how could he - the legendary Purple Dragon - love HER. While Ember's pink scales where fair, her eyes blue, and her body gorgious ; Cynder's scales where dark and raidiated darkness, her eyes green, and her body was thin.
She growled. She had half a mind to yell a insult at Cynder, but knew better not to. The last time she did that, she was scolded so harshly by Spyro, it left her crying. "I'm back, my love," a voice sang from the door.
Ember rolled her eyes. 'Typicle Flame," she thought bitterly. Turning around, she wiped away what ever angry expression she had, and replaced it with a cute, happy smile. "I missed you so much, dear," Ember lied.
Truth be told, she never loved the big red oaf. The met eachother atleast five years ago. The where fleeing the war against Malefor, and went to Warfang where the became good friends. But little did Ember know that a Flame began to develope a crush on her.
She found out about this when she was eavesdropping on Flame while he was conversing with one of his friends. He was hoping on taking her on a date, and Ember decided to give him just that. When Flame very akwardly asked her the following day, Ember, much to his surprise, immediatly agreed.
From that day forward, Ember and Flame went to dates more often. She was on the furge of falling in love with the red dragon...until Spyro arrived. She had heard many heroic tales of the purple dragon. She swooned over him. But never could she imagen seeing him in living flesh. All of the things Flame lacked, Spyro had. He smarted, better looking, and well-built.
But unfortunitly she still had Flame who was still head-over-tail for her. She couldn't just simply break up with him. Ember knew his poor heart will never handle it. But now she was taking it more in consideration.
The only thing stopping her was Cynder. If Ember could get Spyro to dump her, he would be all her's. But the main question was 'how?' It was then that she rememberd about the 'specail place' there was in Warfang, but it was going to cost her. But luckely she had Flame.
"Flame," Ember began while she embraced him," do you have some gems for me? I want to go shopping a bit." "Ofcourse I have, love, you can have as many as you want," said Flame. Ember smiled wickitly. She knew he would be foolish enough to give money to her without qeustion. indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
