This choice: The two months fly by and Gon gains innches over several days. • Go Back...Chapter #26A month flies by and Gon gains inches here & there by: Unknown During the following days, a transformation took place, both physical and mental.
Every passing day studying became easier, his mind could memorize more information in less time and he could concentrate more easily in his tasks. His aunt couldn't be more pleased, although she didn't know the real, unnatural cause of all this... neither was Gon, who was still an absent-minded boy and had already forgotten Alluka's little help.
The other aspect of the transformation affected subtly his body. Each day he grow almost nothing, like a centimeter. An amount small enough to go unnoticed from one day to another. But after the first week, his shirt and trousers didn't fit him well, exposing his ankles and a band of his plain tummy. He was as tall as his guardian now.
"I think you're hitting puberty." Mito said smiling as she gave him new clothes. He looked at the pile of finished homework he had on his desk and smiled again "You're also much more mature and responsible..." her face changed "...so unlike Gin" She thought next

The next week his studying performance had improved so much he could finish 5 hours of homework in just one. He used the rest of the time to train his atrophied body and his muscles responded well.
After other 7 days, 7cm of height and a few extra pounds of muscle, Gon needed to renew his wardrobe again.
"Surely, today's children do grow up fast"

At that point, he was already taller than his aunty. He kept training. His musculature already matched Killua's, and it was improving every day.
At the end of the week, he looked older than he really was. His face remained unchanged, but the increased height, wider shoulders and strong build made him look like a young adult.
"Did his father grew so fast at his age...?" Aunty Mito wondered worried after giving him new green clothes.

That week Gon decided to train his nen too. His Nen skills had been damaged and blocked after his battle against Neferpitou, and no one believed restoring them was possible... but lately he felt he could archive anything.
First day, first Nen exercise: he accidentally released an incredible amount of nen.
"Wow"
He didn't forget his physical training, and so, two days later, he noticed he almost had outgrown his brand new t-shirt. It wasn’t caused by a new growth spurt, it was too soon, it was because of his muscles developing faster than ever. His pecs had increased their thickness and now were pressing against the fabric, making their shape visible to everyone. His abs became much more prominent, like six hard rocks. His bermuda shorts stretched as his thigh got thicker, and those weren’t the only growing things stretching his pants…
He didn’t want to bother his aunt and forcing her to go shopping again (he had to take a boat to get to a clothing shop), so he kept wearing it.
But after a day, his tshirt were so skintight the shape of his nipples was perfectly visible through the cloth. The sleeves hugged tightly his swollen biceps. His t-shirt started to feel to short, more due to the growing girth of his torso than the few centimeters he grew in half a week.
Another day passed, and his t-shit got even tighter. He hardly could move with it, so he spent a good part of the day shirtless, only putting it on before meeting her auty. Unfortunately, his plan backfired the next day at lunch. When Gon tried to reach the salt, the tensed t-shirt burst, revelating his well defined chest to her.
“Sorry, I’ll fix it...” he answered hastily and embarrassed.
He put his hand on the rip and instinctively tried to close it by graving the cloth.
That tensed again the clothing to the point of creating another burst in the opposite side, over his perfectly V-shaped back.
“Crap. I better go to...”
He tried to get up from his chair. Then his shorts teared up a little too.
“AHHH!” He ran to his room ashamed of himself.
The day after Mito measured him and shortly afterward she went shopping again for her 6 feet tall nephew.
“This is the biggest size they had.”
The clothing fit well for a day. During his training he sensed how it was constricting him again. He lost his cool and teared the front of the shirt up to regain mobility.
It ended up being a good idea. That way no matter how much his pecs grew or his shoulder stretched, his “open shirt” would adapt to the new girth by opening itself more. And during his last days with his aunt he grew plenty more.
It had been a month since Killua’s call and it was time to pay him a visit.
He saw his aunty off, and hugged her affectionately. The height difference was funny.
At that time he was 185cm tall (like 6’2) and a head taller than her. Also his wide, muscular build made her look smaller. When he arrived her home a month ago, she was the one almost a head taller. The time (and magic wishes) changes everything.
Then he head for Yorknew city. Even with his enhanced speed, the journey took him a few days during he kept growing a little more.
Once he arrived the City, he met Killua.  indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
