Darkness

It's a long time before things finally settle down. You've gotten used to her moving and stopping, moving and stopping, so it's a bit puzzling when suddenly the motion ceases, except for the occasional sideways wiggle of the immense foot you're attached to.

When the light coming in dims, you remember: you were heading to the movie theater. That's where you must be right now.

You breathe deeply, or would, were you not a speck of paint. Well, now that the motion has stopped, you have the chance to get back to a more animate form. Or you could just rest and try to sleep; it's surprisingly relaxing being in a shoe.
