My Mate. She needs a nursemaid to watch her eggs.

"What?" you blurt out. "You want me to watch over your wife and eggs?"

"She's not my wife, and the eggs arn't all mine," the dragon said with a chuckle. "Most of the eggs belong to my brothers and a couple of my cousins, and a few other dragons. Also, she's not my only mate. Some of the others are a couple of her sisters or cousins, and other females in the area."

"Then why do you need me?"

"She was in an accident and broke her wings, and can't hunt for herself," the dragon said with a huff. "Now me and the rest have to get her food, but there are some things we can't do for her. That's where you come in. You are to help keep her clean, and whatever else she wants, or she'll eat you. You're not the first one brought here you should know. Her last slave made her way too angry, and she ate him."
