Alex bounces off his sister's cheek and the hair he is clinging to flies off in the opposite direction. Janet's hair sways around for a few moments then eventually settles. Alex tries to compose himself because slamming into his sister's gigantic face was a little freaky. He resumes his climbing, all the while looking out at his sister's massive face. The size difference between the two of them is nearly indescribable for Alex. As his shrunken adventure continues, his sister seems to just keep getting bigger. Any quick movement by her now could be a quick death for Alex. To be climbing through her thick hair strands like a tiny bug is not how Alex envisioned his day would turn out. He finally reaches her ear and the opening to it looks like a large cave. He climbs off the hair strand and onto the ledge of Janet's right ear.
"Man, it is so much bigger than I thought it would be....how small have I gotten?" thinks Alex. When he started his journey, he was near an inch tall, but now, he is much smaller than that. For the most part, Janet's ear is pretty clean with a few small thin hairs sticking out here and there. Alex makes sure to steady himself because he knows Janet could move her head at any time. He pulls himself up to the opening of her ear canal and stands just below the arch. He can see just a little into the dark cave but notices all the wax lining it. Alex is worried now that he has become too small and his sister may not be able to hear him. He takes a deep breath and gets ready to yell as loud as he can. Alex....
