Chapter #15The shrinking formula by: Markus   "Turn around you pervert. I have to get dressed again since you ruined my clothes," says Janet while clinging to her bed sheet.
"Fine, but I didn't do anything to your clothes. You didn't believe me at all. But I guess I could have shared that your clothes don't change size with you," says Alex. He turns away from his sister and lets her get dressed. The room is quiet for a minute as they both think about the possibilities from using the formulas.
"You did blow my mind with that growth formula. I had no idea that something could really cause people to change size. I thought that was just on TV," says Janet. She has put on another pair of sport shorts along with a white t-shirt.
"Alright, you can turn around now," says Janet. Alex turns around to face his sister and their eyes meet. They stare back at each other while trying to determine what the other is thinking. Alex has the image of his sister towering over him stuck in his head and he did find it exciting to have her become bigger than him. Janet has just the opposite idea in her head. When she wasn’t freaking out, she thought it was really cool to look down on her brother. She is also thinking about the shrinking formula and what it could do to a couple girls from school she doesn’t like along with her brother.
“So, what do you think we should do? I don’t have to be anywhere today,” says Alex.
“I don’t know. We do have to be careful with the growth formula. Wouldn’t want to damage the house. I am pretty sure mom would freak out. And what the heck would mom do if she knew we had these formulas? Maybe one of us should try the shrinking formula or something,” says Janet. She looks across at Alex, waiting for his response.
“Uh, okay. But which one of us?” replies Alex. Janet nearly says “you because I want a little brother” but has a better idea. She has a trick coin that has heads on both sides. Janet gets the coin out of a drawer and says, “Why don’t we flip. Heads for you and tails for me.”
“Alright, go ahead,” says Alex. Janet tosses the coin up in the air completely knowing which side it is going to land on.
“Heads!” she says with a bit of excitement. A large smile forms on her face, very satisfied by the fact that her brother is going to shrink.
“Okay, I guess I’ll go first then,” says Alex. Janet actually gets up and brings him the shrinking formula.
“Come on Alex. Be a man and take a drink,” says Janet in a joking tone. Alex takes the bottle from his sister and opens the top of it.
“How are we going to do this? I only shrunk a little bit before and I have no idea how small a person could really become from drinking this. It’s not like I want to be super tiny or anything and you are going to have to be nice to me. I am willing to have some fun but you can’t do stupid stuff when I’m short. Are you going to be cool?” says Alex. Janet would say anything to get her brother to take a drink from the bottle.
“Come on Alex…I mean, it would be neat to be taller than you for once and I can be nice, I swear,” says Janet. She can’t help a few giggles that slip out of her mouth. Alex stares at his sister making sure she knows that he is serious, then takes a small drink of the shrinking liquid.
“There. See, I’m not afraid to take it,” says Alex trying to be cool. Janet claps her hands together a couple times and says “Yea!”
“You know Alex, I might have to borrow some of that shrinking formula. There is a girl I hate named Natalie and she is a bitch! I would love to shrink her down and put her in her place,” says Janet.
“Yeah, I have a teacher I would love to do the same thing to,” says Alex. The two of them engage in some small talk while waiting for the changes to take place. Next, how is Janet going to behave as Alex shrinks?
