Heat Wave

Right after Alex puts his cup down, his face starts to feel really flush. His body temperature feels like it is going up as beads of sweat form on his brow. Now a wave of dizziness overcomes Alex and he has to put his hands on the kitchen counter for balance. "Are you okay Alex? You look a little warm to me," says his mom. "I, I don't know. I just started to feel strange all of a sudden," he adds. Alex takes a deep breath, then, out of no where, lets out a huge burp. "Woh, that felt really weird," explains Alex. Alex's heart rate starts to pick up as his body slowly begins to grow. He can feel his body changing as his clothing tightens up all around him. "Oh my god Alex, that potion might actually be working!" Alex watches his arms with amazement as they seem to be getting longer. His body continues to tingle all over as he experiences the changes.
