Chapter #6Something else by: NVR   Alex kept walking and smirked when he no longer felt the clothes feeling tight and when those little pockets of cold on his shins finally disappeared. As he approached home he wondered what to do with such a crazy gift.
The only thing he lamented was that the containers were small and he already wasted a bit of them in this test. He made a mental note to check with Ms. Cruz if she would be willing to share more of this stuff with him and started to imagine what he could do with this. Growing seemed to be fun, as long as you didn't do it in public when your clothes could rip off as a result, maybe he should give himself a tiny boost with the eye dropper to go from his 5'10'' to that ideal height of 6'2'' he read somewhere? He remembered what the teacher said about being able to mix the formula with a drink and thought of pranking someone like his little sister, or secretly share it with someone who wanted to be taller to make their dreams come true also seemed like a great idea.
"Using this stuff seems to make you a bit tired though" Alex noted as he felt a bit sluggish, attributing it to the use of the formulas. What he didn't notice was that he was starting to become smaller than his 5'10'' height, and as a result his bag and his clothes, although still comfortable to wear, started to weight just a bit more on him.
Alex got distracted with another thought, how much would he grow or shrink if he decided to drink what was left in the container? Would he go further than the 10ft Ms. Cruz mentioned? and how small would he get? He started to think about shrinking scenarios, and felt those would be more fun simply because it allowed him to do more, from watching a movie in front of a giant TV or use the sink of his bathroom as a giant pool to spy on others undetected, now that was fun! He could of course also use it as a prank and have a good laugh watching his victim trying to make sense of their diminished perspective, but helping someone get smaller sounded a bit more farfetched, it would be harder to explain that a late growth spurt.
Lost in his thoughts, he didn't notice that his clothes started to become a problem again, and now with shoes that were too big for him he stumbled and ended up bumping into a person he hadn't even noticed.
"Oh God, I'm sorry" Alex tried to apologize as quick as he could, realizing his new wardrobe malfunction and wanting to get home asap to use the dropper until he restored his normal height. He knew it was rude, but he didn't bother looking at the person he bumped into, instead he tried to run, once again with uncomfortable steps and fully conscious of how everything he was wearing was a couple of sizes too big for him.
"Just be more careful geez... wait, is that you Alex?" a female voice he recognized stopped him in his tracks. Alex wasn't counting on this, but he knew he was trapped and hoped this person didn't freak out.
