Chapter #6

In primary village, and looking for some prey.

"Traveling by digivice is a pain."

         Veemon mutters to himself; he gets to his feet after recovering from the rough landing. Veemon takes a couple of minutes and surveys his surroundings. He finally realizes where the portal has taken him.

"I am in primary village."

         Veemon mutters to himself. Veemon walks around the village for a while and thinks to himself. Veemon notices another Digimon walking towards him. Veemon soon recognizes the Digimon; it is a Gomamon.

"Can you help me find my friend; he is hiding somewhere in the village."

         Gomamon asks with a concerned expression. Veemon thinks for a minute and gets an idea; he can have fun with Gomamon, but he must first lure him away from the village.

"I will help you."

"I have searched the entire village twice and cannot find them anywhere."

         Veemon looks around, and he notices the nearby forest. The perfect setting for a trap. Once they are deep enough in the woods, Gomamon will be his. Veemon puts his plan into action.

"Maybe they are hiding in there."

         Veemon points to the forest near the village. Gomamon stares into the dark and bleak forest; he feels embarrassed; he forgot to check the site.

"I never thought of that, but it scares me to go alone."

         Gomamon admits with a gloomy look. He never left the village. It was far too easy to become lost. Veemon had to do something; he could not wait around anymore. Gomamon is unaware he is playing straight into Veemon's hands.

"I will go with you we can search faster."

         This makes it too easy, but Veemon does not complain. He was looking for excitement that may cure him of his boredom.
